Grand Discovery Rim to Sky
This tour package offers a unique opportunity to experience the Grand Canyon from the sky and from the edge. Your airplane tour will soar over the Kaibab National Forest, the Confluence of the Little Colorado River, and canyon formations like Imperial Point and Zuni Corridor.
The ground excursion included in this tour takes place aboard a customized military-style Hummer vehicle designed with a convertible roof. Grand Discovery Sunset Rim to Sky
This tour allows passengers to capture incredible aerial views of the Grand Canyon, then explore the Grand Canyon National Park aboard a custom Hummer vehicle! Departing from the Grand Canyon South Rim terminal, this tour soars over some of the most photogenic regions of the canyon - including Dragon Corridor, Zuni Corridor, and Imperial Point. You'll even see the Colorado River over a mile below you.
After touching back down, passengers will transfer to the Buck Wild Hummer Tours terminal nearby for their ground excursion. This tour travels aboard an open-air Hummer vehicle, perfect for capturing photos while feeling the desert breeze. You'll be transported to several scenic destinations along the canyon rim, with the final stop just in time to watch the sunset. What if you miss the appointed time or departure date?
Once the booking is confirmed, an absence or failure to show up on the scheduled date or time is a no-show. No refunds or reschedules will be issued for no-shows and late arrivals.
Other important information
- All passengers aged 18 years and older traveling within the United States are required to present either a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or passport. Any customer arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation. Photocopies or digital images of identification cannot be accepted.
- Check-in is 30 minutes before the booked tour's start time.
- All airplane passengers will be weighed at the time of check-in. Passengers weighing 300 pounds (136 kg) or more will be charged for an additional seat.
- Pilot gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.
- CANCELLATION POLICY: Tour may be changed or canceled without penalty up to 5 days prior to departure, subject to availability. Cancellations within 5 days of departure are non-refundable. No-shows will be charged in full with no refund. Flights are subject to cancellation due to lack of passenger demand, weather, etc.
- Baggage Restrictions - Due to limited space, purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft.
- HUMMER: Child Restrictions - Car or booster seats are required by Arizona law - for children under 8 years old or shorter than 4 feet, 9 inches (57 inches).
- All passengers are required to reconfirm their tour at least 24 hours in advance by contacting our reservations department at 702-638-3300. Please have your reservation number available. Our specialists are available daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (Pacific Time). Reservations without confirmed pick-up information will be wait-listed.
- FUEL SURCHARGE: A temporary fuel surcharge of $15.00 per seat is in effect until March 31, 2024, and is collected at the time of check-in.
- Children 5 years and under are required to use a car seat or booster seat in the hummer. Ages of children must be provided.
- Open-air hummer during the warmer months. Enclosed hummer during the colder months.
- Itinerary may vary depending on seasonality and operations hours.
