Small train thrill, serene bamboo, and mossy temple—this tour had it all!
Scenic, soothing, and soul-refreshing. A great tour!
Magical train ride and zen gardens—highly recommend!
Bamboo forest walk + moss garden temple + foot bath = pure bliss.
Absolutely loved this day tour from Osaka! Starting off with the nostalgic charm of the Sagano small train through the lush Arashiyama countryside was dreamy. The walk through the bamboo grove and visit to Tenryu-ji were peaceful and beautiful, and Sanzen-in’s moss garden felt like walking into a fairy tale. Top it off with a relaxing foot bath at Arashiyama Station—it was the perfect blend of culture, nature, and Zen.
One of the best tours I’ve taken—so peaceful yet rich in scenery. Riding the old-school Arashiyama small train, strolling under towering bamboo, exploring the mossy grounds of Sanzen-in, and refreshing in a foot bath—it all came together beautifully. The seamless hotel pick-up/drop-off was a bonus!
Great tour with varied highlights—nostalgic train ride, stunning bamboo forest, peaceful temple gardens, and a relaxing foot soak. A well-curated Kyoto experience without the usual hustle.
Lovely day out! Arashiyama’s train journey and bamboo grove lived up to the hype, and Sanzen-in’s moss garden was peaceful beyond words. The little hot foot bath afterward capped it all off perfectly.

Bamboo, moss, and a foot soak = perfect Kyoto day.
A wonderful mix of scenic sights and cultural calm. The train ride through Arashiyama felt magical, walking among the bamboo stalks was unforgettable, and Sanzen-in’s garden was tranquil. The post-walk foot bath was a thoughtful touch—feet and soul both relaxed!
Charming, calming, and oh-so Kyoto. Loved the train and temple gardens.
A flawless escape into Kyoto’s tranquil side. The Sagano Scenic Railway ride offered stunning riverside views, the bamboo forest was mesmerizing, and Sanzen-in Temple’s moss gardens were simply serene. Ending with a soothing foot bath was genius—great pace, great service, and unforgettable scenery.
