Overview
- Have a wild day out at the San Diego Zoo! Meet more than 3,700 animals, take a ride on the zoo bus and fly over the treetops in the Skyfari aerial tram.
- Go wild at the world-famous San Diego Zoo. More than 3,700 animals live in the vast park in San Diego’s leafy Balboa Park. The zoo was one of the pioneers in the concept of open-air, cageless exhibits with the animals allowed to roam, romp and roar in an environment that closely resembles their natural habitat.
- Board the double-decker tour bus that weaves through most of the park and get to know the creatures that call the zoo home. See endangered giant pandas from China (San Diego Zoo has successfully bred pandas) and learn more about these bamboo-munching cuddly giants in the interactive exhibits. Hit the sprawling Australian Outback area to see the koalas, wombats and wallabies. Slither over to the Reptile House to observe pythons, boas and Gila monsters.
- Don’t anger the endangered Komodo dragon from Indonesia, which is the largest living lizard in the world with 60 flesh-tearing teeth and a forked tongue. Dive into the Northern Frontier, a spectacular habitat for Arctic animals including polar bears, reindeer, a variety of birds and Arctic foxes. Wander along Lost Forest, which leads to a tiger’s lair and other surprises while Gorilla Tropics recreates an African rainforest. Winged creatures abound in the Owens Rain Forest Aviary with more than 200 birds living in this replica of a southeast Asian jungle.

What is the cancellation policy?

What if you miss the appointed time or departure date?
Once the booking is confirmed, an absence or failure to show up on the scheduled date or time is a no-show. No refunds or reschedules will be issued for no-shows and late arrivals

- Please bring a valid ID (e.g. passport) with you. The name on the ID needs to be the same as the name of the person traveling when placing the order. When entering the park, the attraction has the right to check the documents.
- All tickets are Nontransferable and Non-refundable
- The Zoo provides special parking, rest rooms, and access to shows, tour buses, and exhibits for guests with disabilities.
- Please note there are steep grades in parts of the Zoo. A complimentary ADA shuttle service operates inside the Zoo for guests with mobility-related disabilities. Guests who use mobility assistive devices may also refer to the Zoo map for ADA pathways and elevators.
