Rhyolite Ghost Town

Over 100 years ago, this small town northwest of Las Vegas was a favorite haven for gold prospectors. Today, it's a deserted ghost town. Founded in 1905, the town's name comes from the rich rhyolite mineral found there. By 1907, it boasted state-of-the-art facilities, including schools, hospitals, and theaters. In 1908, a report revealed an overestimation of the town's mineral deposits, prompting a sudden exodus of gold prospectors and entrepreneurs. In 1911, the town closed its plaza, and its more than 1,000 residents began to move out. In 1923, the last resident died, and the town was completely abandoned. From its founding to its abandonment, Riolette spanned less than 20 years, a truly harrowing journey.

Death Valley National Park

Death Valley is the hottest and driest region in North America. Its unique geology, dotted with sand dunes, sandstone, colorful rocks, volcanic craters, and salt lakes, offers a breathtaking experience of its vast and fleeting beauty. Witness the undulating mountains, the multicolored rocks, and the intertwining layers of color. The breathtaking scenery of peaks and ravines is truly breathtaking, leaving one marveling at the wonders of nature.
